LockVue Web Portal - Quick Start

Use the LockVue web portal to activate and manage your locks, manage permissions and view activity on your network. Using the advanced functionality, you can quickly check what activity is occurring on your network and share or revoke access to multiple locks and/or multiple users in one go.
Read on for quick a quick introduction to the main LockVue web portal features.
Login
To access the LockVue web portal use a web browser to navigate to https://go.lockvue.com and enter in your email address and password. If using a multiple administrator setup, select the using a shared account option.
If you don't have an account already make sure to click on Register to create an account.

Navigating the LockVue Web Portal
Navigating the LockVue web portal is accomplished through the left side menu. Just click on the section you'd like to go to. If needed you can minimise the side menu for some extra screen space and edit some of your profile details. See below annotated image:

Locks
The Locks page displays the locks available to your account and is also where you can activate new locks.
- Click on column headings to sort locks
- Use the boxes below the headings to filter the displayed locks
- Use 'Activate' at the top right to add new locks
- Share locks by ticking their check box and clicking 'Share' at top right.
- Only possible if you have Owner or Admin permission
- Use 'Export As' to export the lock data to a pdf or csv file
- Use the pencil icon to edit lock data such as name and advanced modes of operation
- The arrow can be used to show or hide an extra information slide out

Permissions
The Permissions page displays all permissions granted to locks that your account is Owner of or has Admin access to.
- Use the search boxes to search by lock, permission type and user
- Click on column headings to sort permissions
- Revoke permissions by ticking their check box and clicking 'Revoke' at top right
- The arrow on right side can be used to show or hide an extra information, slide out

Lock Groups
The Lock Groups page allows for managing access to multiple locks at once.
- Add a new lock group by click 'New Lock Group' at top right
- Arrange lock groups as a table or grid view by click options next to 'New Lock Group'
- Filter and search for Lock Groups using the Search box
- If you have more than five Lock Groups use navigation options at the bottom to show more
- Access Lock Group functions such as renaming, sharing, view group by clicking the three dot submenu button
- Open the view group option, click Add to create another lock and permission, to Remove a lock and its permission, click the rubbish bin icon next to the lock
- Clicking the view group the lock group can be removed by clicking Delete. This removes all locks from the lock group and permissions

Teams
The Teams page allows for managing the access of multiple users at once.
- Add a new Team by click 'New Team' at top right
- Arrange teams as a table or grid view by click options next to 'New Team'
- Filter and search for Teams using the Search box
- If you have more than five Teams use navigation options at the bottom to show more
- Access Team functions such as renaming, sharing, view team by clicking the three dot submenu button
- Open the view team option, click Add Member to create another member and permission, to Remove a member and its permission, click the rubbish bin icon next to the members name
- Clicking the view team the team can be removed by clicking Delete. This removes all team members and permissions

Activity
Lock Activity
The Activity pages allows you to see what's been going on across your Owner and Admin locks, and your Lock Groups and Teams.
- You can only see activity of locks that you have Owner or Admin access to
- Default view is 'Access Events' that just shows lock access activity. You can change this by selecting the appropriate option at top right
- 'Admin Events' shows lock management activity such as permissions grants and revokes
- 'All Events' combines the Access Events and Admin Events views
- Use the date options to narrow or expand range or select the day option for 1D, 7D, 30D or maximum 90D
- Use the search boxes to search by lock, activity and user
- Click on column headings to sort activity
- The arrow on right side can be used to show or hide an extra activity information, slide out

Group Activity and Team Activity
The Group and Team activity pages provide a history of group of teams changes such as, new, revoked, edited, and by which administrator.
Reports
The reports page allows administrators to monitor lock and user activity.
Device Exception
The Device Exception page reports any instances where a a user has opened a lock with multiple mobile phone devices. Search by date up to a maximum of 90 days.
Some valid reasons are they have upgraded or replaces their mobile, or another persons phone was required in an emergency. The administrator can validate by contacting the user.
This report will also identify those without approval who are operating multiple phone devices and those who may be carrying out non-permitted activity. The administrator may choose to revoke their permissions.

Export Reports
The Export Report option allows Administrators run a report and generate a csv file that lists, lock, user and administrator activity up to a maximum of 90 days.
This data can be used to monitor lock point utilisation, reconcile user permit compliance, incident event investigations, site check-in protocols, audit contractor time on the ground with that invoiced, asset tracking and scheduled visits.
